Personally I think this is a back door way of introducing
on street parking charges into the town. This type of
scheme works well for certain larger towns where congestion
and parking are a problem but this does not apply to Market
Drayton and I can't see who would wish to use such a scheme.

I can't see the need personally. Just scrap the car parking 
charges. To be honest, Market Drayton doesn't have enough 
going on to attract hoards of people.
